The perfect tool for your trade
- Exact connection to the battery.
The cordless version with an ergonomic spade handle gives you more comfort while working without cables. The upgraded guide frame means more flexibility and the column guide offers better stability. There are four stop pins for precise positioning, so you can skip all that annoying measuring or marking. - Not flat. Not round. Simple DOMINO.
With the DFC 500, you can cut DOMINO dowels to fit perfectly or with a bit of play. Their unique oval shape makes them super sturdy and stops them twisting right from the first dowel. They blend the precision of round dowels with the flexibility of flat dowels. Plus, you can get them in various sizes for both delicate and solid pieces. - One-of-a-kind DOMINO system.
The DOMINO system features dowels made from two types of wood, perfect for both inside and outside use. Machine accessories like round and trim stops really broaden what you can do with it. The connecting fittings give you those solid connections you’re used to and can be popped apart quickly if you need to.
- Independent of the 18V battery system.
The DOMINO in the 18-volt system for use on the building site – no need for a power source. Totally mobile with a cordless vacuum and no extra cable. - Spade Handle
Work without fatigue thanks to the ergonomic handle with soft grip. - Pendulum cutting principle
Unique to manual machines: the routing motion of the DOMINO Joining machine. The simultaneous rotation and pendulum action of the cutter makes working smooth and creates a precise elongated hole. Thanks to the pendulum movement, the cutters don’t overheat, giving them an incredibly long lifespan.
- Innovative stop system
Dowel positioning made easy: Starting from a reference edge or a previously routed DOMINO hole, you can quickly and precisely set up the router using the four built-in stop pins – you can even create dowel groups! - Maximum stability
The unique shape of the DOMINO dowel, along with the expanding glue pockets and side grooves, provides a really secure hold. With the Festool Joining machine, you can work with DOMINO dowels sized from 4 x 20 mm to 10 x 50 mm. They're also available as customisable material.
- 100% rotation-proof
Right from the first DOMINO the joints are completely secured against rotation – without aligning the workpieces. - Also fixable
The DOMINO connectors are just right for building frames and cabinets. They stand out thanks to their sturdy build and the extra tightening range. If needed, you can quickly take them apart again. - DOMINO system accessories
Perfectly joining round and square woods, consistent hole spacing or frame joints: We've got the right system accessories – compatible with all DOMINO routing. - For inside and out
DOMINOs are available in two materials: Beech for interior applications and weatherproof, insect- and mould-resistant sipo DOMINOs for outdoor applications. - Even for the tiniest bits of work
Thin workpieces from 12 mm up can be easily joined with our smallest 4 x 20 mm DOMINO dowels – perfect for drawer sides. - Choose your long-hole width
The first DOMINO goes in through a precise elongated hole, and the next DOMINOs are routed through wider ones with a bit of wiggle room. This way, any misalignment can be sorted out, and the joint sits perfectly flush.
- Routing depths set for dowels
The routing depth stop lets you set preset routing depths of 12 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 28 mm. These depths are perfectly matched to the dowels and panel materials. - Mitre joints
The routing angle of the Joining machine can be adjusted smoothly anywhere from 0° to 90°. The snug-fit dowels help keep the workpiece perfectly aligned while gluing. - Working with extraction
When you're working with the DOMINO Joining machine, you'll end up with a lot of chips. To make chip removal from the routing hole easier and keep things precise while you're routing, we recommend a mobile dust extractor.
