This blade is made from High Carbon Steel (HCS). It is a material that can withstand bending and therefore is best suited for cutting softer materials such as softwood, soft plastics and wood fibreboards.The blade attachment is the Makita M-shank & has been desighend for quick and easy installation to Makita Jigsaws. Milled teeth helps the blade cut faster and leaves a rougher cut surface
